The Perversion of Liberty

Human beings have done the most unspeakable acts of perversions in all areas of life in the name of liberty. “Where is my liberty?,” the cries can be heard. “I want my liberty! Do not mess with my liberty!” We constantly hear this and more through the halls of history and it is no different in our times. What is liberty? Who or what defines liberty? What or who is the source of liberty?

The Christian’s Political Dilemma

These days many Christians are rethinking their role in American politics. By this I mean that many who stayed on the sidelines in the past are now entering the political arena. Why, isn’t it enough to pray? We are all sensing that America is in trouble and we need to fight for the soul of our nation but many don’t know quite how to sort it all out or even if Christians should get involved.

A Misguided Goodwill Desensitizes People

“It is the right thing to do” has a good ring to it, doesn’t it? The idea behind that statement apparently makes sense, however, it is much more complex than what it seems. Have you acted upon a principle only to find out by the result of your decision that you were dead wrong, had to pay the consequences, and then you proceed to repeat it again and again? You are not alone, billions of people repeat this same process day in and day out even though the results are more than obvious.

Land of the Lazy and Home of the Productive Slaves

So, the American dream has changed from valuing hard ethical work efforts in order to enjoy the fruits of labor in exchange for “do not work and be happy, the government will provide for your little sweetheart.” After all, there are plenty of people to steal their hard earned money to pass it on to those who vote for the generous bureaucrats who dispose of other people’s money.

Beware of Sheep’s Clothing

Another “National Prayer Breakfast” of wolves and sheep gathering at the annual event held every first Thursday of February in Washington, D.C. The sponsor of the meetings is the Christian organization, The Fellowship Foundation, better known as The Family, a religious and political organization founded in 1935. The Fellowship’s purpose is to provide a forum for legislators, officials, and religious leaders from all faiths and political ideologies who share in Bible studies, prayer meetings, experience worship and spiritual affirmation and support.

Imperialistic Presidency Since 1798

Perhaps Americans will understand now what others in past generations have experienced throughout the world, that is, how it is to live under the grip of a centralized power, also known as tyranny. History shows that tyrants may go by different names. Nonetheless, the form of government is always the same. Currently, the most common form of government has become an Imperial Presidency and America’s presidency is no exception.

State of Exclusion

When President Obama mapped out his agenda last night, there was one thing missing: Congress. “I’m eager to work with all of you,” he told a full chamber, only to spend the next hour explaining how he planned to avoid them. “America does not stand still — and neither will I,” the President vowed. “So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that’s what I’m going to do.” Even to this, some of the same leaders the President had just declared irrelevant stood and cheered.

Ten Principles of a Market-Oriented Health Care System

Republicans want a health care reform plan that would replace Obamacare, while increasing access, lowering costs and improving the quality of care. In short, they want a market-driven system. The principles of such plan have been around for years, and a number of Republicans have included them in their proposals.

New York Gov. Against Common Sense and Critical Thinking

Okay, New Yorkers, all of you professing Christians, which includes priests, nuns and all “extreme” conservatives, who disagree with His Far-Left Majesty Andrew Cuomo the Narcissist, governor of New York, pack your bags and get your you-know-what out of his Machiavellian plantation state.

What does it say about a society when decency and common sense become controversial?

Lost Prison Manuscript Confirms The Real Mandela

The Spectator has dropped a bombshell which confirms my previous report, The Real Mandela. Rian Malan’s article “What a lost prison manuscript reveals about the real Nelson Mandela” debunks to a large degree the liberal-left revisionist history of Mandela’s alleged non-violence—a history bought into even by many conservative and evangelical Christians today.
