The National Catholic Reporter reported Friday that Vatican sources said the pope intends to visit several cities in America, especially Philadelphia, in late September 2015, during the Catholic Church’s World Meeting of Families. The international gathering takes place every three years. This is the pope’s first visit to America and for millions of Catholics, his six-day visit will be a time of great celebration, but for those who are involved in security, this event is of great concern.

There’s no denying that presidential candidate Donald Trump is capturing the attention of Americans with the bold solutions that he is presenting to most of the problems that are afflicting the nation. His statement about deporting illegal immigrants, in spite of having children born in the U.S., has sparked positive and negative reactions; of course, the 14th Amendment is the focal point in both views. It is a heated topic that is gaining traction. By now, some of the other presidential candidates are siding with Trump.
The American experiment developed by the Founding Fathers of a limited federal government, with a constitutional mandate, and a clear separation of powers with co-equal branches of government, is not going as well as expected. The question must be asked. Do we have the willingness and fortitude to turn things around and move towards an in-depth transformation before a total collapse? We certainly do not mean the fundamental transformation proclaimed by Obama and his presidential and federal oligarchic predecessors.
The blood of close to 60 million slaughtered babies in the mother’s womb cries out for justice. If justice doesn’t come by society stopping this blood-curdling practice of barbarism, history is very clear that this nation will pay dearly for their approval of it.
What do you consider is America’s greatest problem? Some will find it hard to single out the main difficulty facing our nation. It is undeniable that the list of problems that plague this country is a long one. For most people in the world there is the logical answer of opposites. The opposite of bitter is sweet, of cold it’s hot, of evil it’s good, of true it’s false, of war it’s peace, of sickness it’s good health, of darkness it’s light and so forth. It sounds simple and logical, yet the nations find themselves following the same ancestral steps of chaos. Why is that, and why is it so difficult to bring order?
When asked if homosexuals are born that way, it seems as though the GOP Presidential candidates are afraid to give a straight answer, don’t know the answer, are uncomfortable with the question, are securing votes or simply playing the guessing game of catch me if you can.
